The name of this beautiful coffee translates to “the garden” – and when we first tasted
it, we couldn’t imagine a more fitting title. It blooms with elegant florals and a pretty, delicate sweetness, offering notes of white peach, vanilla and jasmine.
El Jardín is owned by husband-and-wife team Leo and Jenny Henao. Leo is an agronomist with a lifelong passion for coffee, having worked across Colombia in farming, milling, quality assurance and coffee buying. Alongside his brother Felipe and close friend Jorge Cuéllar, his previous farm, Los Palomos (another Market Lane favourite), earned first place in Colombia’s 2020 Cup of Excellence competition.
We’re delighted to be sharing this outstanding Gesha microlot from Leo’s new farm, named after the garden of Greek philosopher Epicurus. Epicureanism celebrates the pursuit of simple, thoughtful pleasure – and we think this coffee perfectly captures that spirit.
