Enjoy two of our espresso coffees with this special coffee bundle, perfect for those who brew with an espresso machine or a stovetop brewer, or for those who like a stronger plunger brew! As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle you’ll receive one 250g bag of our Seasonal Blend (containing 90% AMACA Women’s Coffee from Colombia and 10% Ayla from Ethiopia) and one 250g bag of Anastase Minani from Rwanda.
AMACA Women’s Coffee was produced by members of a dynamic, women-run organisation founded 25 years ago to help female farmers find better opportunities for their crops. This rich, full-bodied Colombian coffee makes a fantastic base for our Seasonal Espresso. Ayla was grown by small-scale farmers who deliver their coffee cherries to the Ayla washing station in Ethiopia’s Sidama region. This sweet and tropical coffee contributes some lovely fruit notes to the blend. These two coffees have been blended together to create a delicious, versatile espresso that works beautifully both on its own and with milk.
Anastase Minani has been working in coffee since 1970. He purchased his first plot of land in Rwanda’s Northern Province in 1989, planted it with coffee trees and built his home there. To prevent his community of farmers from having to rely on middlemen, he founded a growers’ association, which ultimately became the Dukunde Kawa Cooperative. Today, Anastase is one of the co-op’s biggest producers, and he’s a deeply respected mentor and role model to many. We feel honoured to visit him on his farm each harvest season, and to offer his sweet and vibrant coffee on our menu every year.
