Enjoy two of our espresso coffees with this special coffee bundle, perfect for those who brew with an espresso machine or a stovetop brewer, or for those who like a stronger plunger brew! As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle you’ll receive one 250g bag of our Seasonal Blend (containing 85% San Antonio Selection from Colombia and 15% Mbilima from Rwanda) and one 250g bag of Carmelita from Bolivia.
This delicious Seasonal Blend features two coffees produced by communities of small-scale farmers. San Antonio Selection is produced by eight farmers, who grow coffee on small plots of land in Colombia’s Inzá region. The coffees included were chosen for their outstanding cup profile and distinct taste of place. Mbilima was produced in Rwanda’s Northern Province using cherries from 80 small-scale farmers – all members of the Dukunde Kawa cooperative. Once picked, the ripe cherries were delivered to the co-op’s Mbilima washing station, where they were carefully wash-processed and sun-dried. Blended together, these coffees create a rich and versatile espresso with lovely dark chocolate and fruit notes.
We’ve been offering sweet, distinctive coffees from Bolivian producer Carmela Aduviri since 2017. Carmela has been growing coffee for almost 50 years. For much of that time, she sold her coffee on the local market, which meant low prices and little reliability. That all changed with her participation in Sol de la Mañana – a program that provides agricultural training to small-scale producers, and connects them with quality-focused roasters. Through Sol de la Mañana, Carmela renovated her farm, improved her farming practices and increased her yields, thereby establishing a more sustainable, financially viable operation. This single-estate espresso is well balanced with delicious notes of dried apricot and cocoa.
