This coffee has cherry and dark chocolate notes with a rich texture.

This delicious espresso blend features two fresh-crop coffees produced by communities of small-scale farmers.

San Antonio Selection (85%) is produced by eight farmers, who grow coffee on small plots of land in Colombia’s Inzá region. We sourced these beans through our export partners, Pergamino, who tasted hundreds of coffees to select the ones for this special lot. The coffees included were chosen for their outstanding cup profile and distinct taste of place.

Mbilima (15%) was produced in Rwanda’s Northern Province using cherries from 80 small-scale farmers – all members of the Dukunde Kawa cooperative. Once picked, the ripe cherries were delivered to the co-op’s Mbilima washing station, where they were wash-processed, then dried on raised beds in the sun.

Blended together, these two coffees create a rich and versatile espresso with lovely dark chocolate and fruit notes in the cup.

The Inzá region’s mountainous terrain is home to various micro-climates, resulting in more complex flavour profiles in the coffees grown here.

Mbilima is the first certified organic washing station in Dukunde Kawa’s cooperative.

Pergamino has developed a bio-fertiliser factory for the producers in Inzá.
