Enjoy two of our filter coffees with this special coffee bundle, perfect for those who brew using filter methods like pour over, Aeropress, plunger and Moccamaster. As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle, you’ll get one 250g bag of Victoria Mukamurenzi from Rwanda and one 250g bag of La Providencia from Colombia.
As the daughter of farmers, Victoria Mukamurenzi grew up learning how to grow coffee. As an adult, she continued to grow coffee with her husband, Theobald Habineza. In 2011, the pair joined the Dukunde Kawa Cooperative, which was empowering for their family. Inspired by the co-op’s marketing of women’s coffees, Victoria decided to plant her own coffee plot in 2018. Her first harvest arrived in 2023 at some 200kg of cherry – we were lucky enough to offer it at Market Lane. This volume had tripled by the following year. We deeply admire Victoria’s poise, intelligence and determination, and we’re very proud to share her beautifully sweet and complex coffee. We hope to continue to work with Victoria for many years to come.
La Providencia was produced by Julio Soscue Villada on his four-hectare farm near the small community of China Alta in Colombia’s Tolima state – a region known for its sweet, complex and high quality coffees. Julio and his family live at La Providencia farm in a house surrounded by coffee trees. They farm using traditional techniques, performing most of the work themselves. This microlot was processed using the washed method at the farm’s small wet mill. Like many producers in the region, Julio progressively adds freshly picked cherries to the fermentation tank over a 48–72 hour period. Adding new cherries each day lowers the PH level. This, combined with the region’s cooler temperatures, extends the fermentation process, enhancing the coffee’s acidity and sweetness.
Please note: our coffee bundles are an online-only offer and aren’t available for purchase in our shops. Coffee substitutions aren’t possible, and each bundle ships to one address.
