We’re super proud and excited to share our decaffeinated coffee with you! We’ve spent a long time looking for a decaffeination process that preserves the coffee’s quality and taste of place, and we’re thrilled to bring you this very sweet and delicious decaf.
About this coffee
At Market Lane, we approach sourcing coffee with a focus on quality, traceability, and committed partnerships at origin. For a long time, we looked for a decaffeinated coffee option that could be sourced through these same practices. Now, through our long-term Colombian export partner, Pergamino, we’re delighted to offer this special coffee: Lomaverde Decaf. Grown and processed at Pergamino’s stunning farm and homestead, Lomaverde, in Colombia’s Northwestern state of Antioquia, the coffee was then decaffeinated locally and shipped to us fresh.
There are many ways to remove caffeine from a coffee. Lomaverde decaf was processed using the EA sugarcane method, which uses water and a natural compound found in sugarcane to gently remove over 97% of a coffee’s caffeine, while maintaining its inherent flavour and quality.
The result is a sweet and distinct coffee, that’s perfect for anyone who wants to skip the caffeine and still enjoy a delicious brew.
