How to dispose of our coffee bags responsibly
Our coffee bags are soft-plastic recyclable, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to recycle them. You can drop your empty bags back to any of our shop locations, or you can mail them back to us, and we’ll recycle them for you.
Additionally, you may be able to recycle these bags at your local council or supermarket (some retailers have started trials for soft-plastic recycling). Look for services that accept soft plastics (#4 LPDE).
How to recycle your bags with Market Lane
There are a number of different ways you can return your bags to us:
Drop them off at any of our shops in Melbourne/Naarm
We accept empty coffee bags at all of our shop locations – they are then collected and returned to our head office for recycling. Our shop locations are listed here.
Or post them back to us (for free)
This is very simple to do!
1. Collect your empty coffee bags. To minimise the footprint of this program, we ask that you send us a minimum of ten bags at a time.
2. Pop them in a box or envelope (new or reused) and send them to:
