This coffee is floral and distinct with white peach, blueberry and jasmine notes.

Ethiopia produces some of the world’s most complex, elegant and nuanced coffees. This being the birthplace of coffee, there is more genetic diversity and flavour variation in landrace Ethiopian varieties than in all the other coffee varieties combined.

Our sourcing partners at Testi Coffee have been connecting us with outstanding Ethiopian coffees since 2018. This lot is made up of local landrace varieties, grown by small-scale farmers who live and work near Testi’s Bishan Wate washing station. Through its Premium Selection Program, Testi pays these growers a premium to deliver only their ripest coffee cherries to the station, which helps ensure the resulting coffee will be sweet, clean and complex.

Bishan Wate is all of those things and more! It’s abundantly floral and pretty in the cup, with vibrant fruit flavours and a distinct taste of place. We hope you love this beautiful Ethiopian coffee as much as we do.
