Enjoy two of our filter coffees with this special coffee bundle, perfect for those who brew using filter methods like pour over, AeroPress, plunger and Moccamaster. As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle, you’ll get one 250g bag of Hacienda Carmona from Guatemala and one 250g bag of El Porvenir from Colombia.
Hacienda Carmona is a beautiful, sprawling estate located on the slopes of the Hunahpú Volcáno, in the heart of the Antigua Valley. It has been part of the Zelaya family for four generations, since the family first began cultivating coffee over 100 years ago. We first started working with Hacienda Carmona under the stewardship of Maria Zelaya, who grew coffee and ran a thriving dairy for over 60 years. Today, coffee production is led by Maria’s nephew, Ricardo Zelaya, who similarly balances tradition with innovation, resulting in Hacienda Carmona’s enduring reputation for excellence. In this distinctive filter coffee, look for notes of red apple and pecan with a brown sugar sweetness.
El Porvenir – which translates to “the future” or “what’s to come” – is a bright, juicy coffee from the farm of Segundo Muñoz. Segundo’s 5.5-hectare property, which sits at the foot of the breathtaking Nevado del Huila volcano, is blessed with rich soil from its surrounding subtropical forest. A father of eight, he has always cultivated the land with great tenderness, using only traditional farming techniques – including the long, arduous process of manual weeding. Seasons change, and his children have since grown and begun their own farms, but Segundo continues to undertake almost all labour on the farm himself, by hand. Alongside his emphasis on biodiversity, and rich intercropping practices, Segundo has also preserved around two hectares of the property as forest. Every touch of balance and care comes through in his beautiful lot.
Please note: our coffee bundles are an online-only offer and aren’t available for purchase in our shops. Coffee substitutions aren’t possible, and each bundle ships to one address.
