Enjoy two of our filter coffees with this special coffee bundle, perfect for those who brew using filter methods like pour over, Aeropress, plunger and Moccamaster. As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle, you’ll get one 250g bag of Yaye from Ethiopia and one 250g bag of Kamwangi from Kenya.
Yaye is a washing station owned by our long-time supply partners, Testi Coffee. It’s located in Sidama, Ethiopia on a site chosen by Testi for its advantageous natural conditions, including its high elevation (2230 metres) and its proximity to the Gelana river as a source of fresh, clean water. Some 500 independent farmers deliver their ripe coffee cherries to the washing station during the harvest period. These farmers typically grow coffee organically on small plots of land (averaging one hectare). The area’s high elevation and cool temperatures cause the coffee cherries to ripen slowly, leading to denser beans and sweeter, more complex cup profiles. In the cup, Yaye is floral and distinct with notes of cherry and purple grape.
From Central Kenya’s Kirinyaga growing region comes Kamwangi, a sweet and complex coffee grown by 1500 small-scale farmers. These farmers typically farm on 3–5 hectare plots of land, where coffee grows alongside crops like bananas, tea, maize and beans. All the contributing farmers are members of the New Ngariama Coffee Farmers’ Cooperative Society. At harvest time, they deliver their ripe cherries to be processed at the Cooperative Society’s Kamwangi washing station. This lot of coffee was processed using the washed method and then dried on raised beds. It’s a superb example of a coffee from the Kirinyaga region. In the cup, Kamwangi is juicy and sweet with notes of lime and caramel.
Please note: our coffee bundles are an online-only offer and aren’t available for purchase in our shops. Coffee substitutions aren’t possible, and each bundle ships to one address.
