Enjoy two of our espresso coffees with this special coffee bundle, perfect for those who brew with an espresso machine or a stovetop brewer, or for those who like a stronger plunger brew! As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle you’ll receive one 250g bag of our Seasonal Blend (containing 85% Santa Clara from Guatemala and 15% Ayla from Ethiopia) and one 250g bag of Santa Isabel from Guatemala.
Our Seasonal Blend is made up of two fresh crop coffees that were carefully selected by our roasting team and combined in a recipe designed to deliver a delicious and balanced espresso. The primary component comes from Santa Clara Estate in Antigua, Guatemala. This estate is owned by Ricardo Zelaya, who is one of Market Lane’s longest standing producing partners. The secondary component comes from a number of small-scale farmers in Bensa, Ethiopia, who deliver their coffee to the Ayla washing station, which is owned and run by our long-time partners at Testi Coffee. We serve our Seasonal Blend as the ‘house espresso’ in all our shops, and we offer it as whole beans for home baristas to brew and enjoy, on its own or paired with milk – it tastes fantastic either way!
2024 marks 13 years of our coffee partnership with Luis ‘Wicho’ Valdés and Santa Isabel Estate in Cobán, Guatemala. Wicho is a fifth-generation producer who runs Santa Isabel with great care and a precise attention to detail, carefully balancing tradition with innovation. In recent years, he has been working hard to make his agricultural processes more sustainable and to embrace more organic and biodynamic farming practices. Through the application of natural micro-organisms to his coffee trees, Wicho has managed to cut out all use of pesticides and most of his fungicide use. As he puts it, “Instead of investing in medicine, we want to invest in nutrition.” This approach has led to healthier, more resilient trees that produce deliciously distinct and wonderfully complex coffees.
Please note: our coffee bundles are an online-only offer and aren’t available for purchase in our shops. Coffee substitutions aren’t possible, and each bundle ships to one address.
