The Zelaya family founded the Santa Clara Scholarship Program in 2011 to help support their farm workers children’s education. Many children in Guatemala are forced to stop going to school early because school fees, and associated costs like school uniforms, are unaffordable for their families. We made our first contribution to the fund in 2014, and have been contributing every year since.

Our deliciously rich and golden Dulce sugar is made from organic sugarcane and grown in the Tayutic Valley, Costa Rica.
