This coffee has a smooth mouthfeel with notes of hazelnut praline and red apple.

Antônio and Terezinha Rigno have been supplying us with sweet, creamy coffees since 2015. 80% of this espresso blend comes from their farm, São Judas Tadeu, in Brazil’s Piatã area. You’d be hard-pressed to find producers more accomplished than the Rignos. Their coffees have placed in the Cup of Excellence competition on numerous occasions, and they not only produce delicious coffees, they also do everything they can to mentor and support other producers to do the same.

Nkara Women’s Coffee makes up 20% of this blend. Balanced and fruit-forward, this coffee was grown by small-scale women farmers, who are members of the Dukunde Kawa Cooperative – our Rwandan supply partner since 2009. Selling their coffee as a separate lot allows these farmers to directly benefit from any higher premiums paid for it (rather than sharing profits across the entire co-op). This creates an extra incentive for the women to work hard as a collective to achieve the highest possible quality.
