This coffee has notes of red plum and nashi pear with a golden syrup sweetness.

We selected this special coffee during a trip that marked 10 years working with Fazenda Progresso, a beautiful, family-run farm in Bahia, Brazil. For us, it was the standout offering from Progresso this year – showcasing a deliciously full body, rich chocolate notes, with well-developed fruit and amplified sweetness. Fabiano Borré, who leads Progresso’s coffee production, jokingly declared upon tasting that he would “marry this coffee”, and we all agreed that it was a great representation of both the farm and the broader region.

Since we began working with the Borré family a decade ago, we have witnessed first-hand their exacting approach, as they have continuously invested in technology and fine-tuned their agronomic, harvesting and processing practices to maximise quality and consistency. This coffee represents a culmination of that work, and so we decided to call the lot “Dez Anos” (10 years) – to celebrate the significance and depth of our relationship with the Borré Family, the evolution of our partnership over the last decade, and the beautiful coffees they continue to produce, which are now a staple within our offering year after year.
