These iconic coffee makers have been produced since 1969 and are still hand-made in the Netherlands to this day. We decided to start retailing them at Market Lane after using them in our homes and head office, and completely falling in love with them!
The Moccamaster Select is the latest model in the Moccamaster range. It’s similar to the ever-popular Moccamaster Classic, with a few extra features:
A half/full brew switch. This switch ensures your brew time is adjusted to account for your batch size, in order to deliver a balanced and beautifully brewed cup.
Improved spray head and filter basket. This ensures the coffee grounds are fully saturated throughout the brewing process.
An automated stop function. This handy function stops the water flowing when the jug is removed, preventing unwanted drips on your kitchen bench (and floor)!
The Moccamaster Select also has these fantastic features in common with the Moccamaster Classic:
Super easy to use. Brew extraordinary coffee daily with the press of a button. In 5–6 minutes, your coffee will be ready! Also very easy to clean.
Versatile, and great for groups. The Moccamaster Select can brew anything from 1 to 6 cups of coffee (1.25L), making it a perfect choice for brewing coffee for a family, a group of friends or the office.
Precise temperature control for brewing. The heavy duty copper boiler heats the water to 90–95C, the optimal temperature range for coffee brewing.
Produces a consistent and balanced cup. This brewer makes great filter coffee, every single time.
Keeps your coffee warm. The warming plate keeps your coffee warm for up to 40 minutes before automatically turning off.
Certified to taste good. The Moccamaster Select requires filter papers (#4 size). 100 filter papers are included with purchase. Refill packs of Moccamaster filter papers are available in all our shops and on our website.
