Enjoy two of our espresso coffees with this special coffee bundle, perfect for those who brew with an espresso machine or a stovetop brewer, or for those who like a stronger plunger brew! As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle you’ll receive one 250g bag of our Seasonal Blend (containing 80% São Judas Tadeu from Brazil and 20% Nkara Women’s Coffee from Rwanda) and one 250g bag of La Esperanza from Colombia.
Our Seasonal Blend features two coffees from long-time supply partners. Brazilian producers Antônio and Terezinha Rigno have been supplying us with coffee since 2015. You’d be hard-pressed to find producers more accomplished than the Rignos – coffees from their farm, São Judas Tadeu, have placed in the Cup of Excellence on numerous occasions, and they mentor many small-scale farmers in their region. Nkara Women’s Coffee is a balanced, fruit-forward lot grown by small-scale women farmers, who are all members of the dynamic Dukunde Kawa Cooperative – our Rwandan supply partners since 2009. Carefully blended together, these coffees create a delicious and versatile espresso with a smooth mouthfeel and notes of hazelnut praline and red apple.
La Esperanza farm was established 31 years ago by producers William Buitrago and Aminta Mahocha Franco. To compensate for the area’s cool climate, William and Aminta plant their coffee trees further apart than is typical, so that each tree receives adequate sunlight. While this reduces their overall yield, it ensures the coffee is of a high quality, which is a top priority for the couple. We love this coffee’s rich, syrupy body and caramel sweetness and hope you enjoy as much as we do!
