This coffee has notes of yellow nectarine and brown sugar.

This bright, juicy coffee comes from the farm of Segundo Muñoz – “El Porvenir” – which translates to “the future”, or “what’s to come”. Segundo’s 5.5-hectare property, which sits at the foot of the breathtaking Nevado del Huila volcano, is blessed with rich soil from its surrounding subtropical forest. A father of eight, he has always cultivated the land with great tenderness, using only traditional farming techniques – including the long, arduous process of manual weeding. Seasons change, and his children have since grown and begun their own farms, but Segundo continues to undertake almost all labour on the farm himself, by hand.

Alongside his emphasis on biodiversity, and rich intercropping practices, Segundo has also preserved around two hectares of the property as forest. Every touch of balance and care comes through in his beautiful lot.
