About these coffees

Enjoy two of our espresso coffees with this special coffee bundle, perfect for those who brew with an espresso machine or a stovetop brewer, or for those who like a stronger plunger brew! As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle you’ll receive one 250g bag of our Seasonal Blend (featuring 80% Santa Clara from Guatemala and 20% Kiangundo from Kenya) and one 250g bag of Santa Isabel, from Guatemala.

Our current espresso blend perfectly complements the season, with its chocolatey richness and notes of candied orange. It’s made up of two fresh-crop coffees. Santa Clara was grown by our long-time producing partner, Ricardo Zelaya, on his farm in Antigua, Guatemala. This lot is a fantastic representation of this world-famous growing region – it’s sweet and balanced with a creamy mouthfeel. Kiangundo was grown by members of the Kiama Farmers’ Cooperative Society in Kenya’s Nyeri County. It was then processed at the co-op’s Kiangundo washing station. This lot contributes a lovely fruitiness to this comforting and versatile espresso blend.

Santa Isabel comes from the Valdés family’s 300-hectare farm in Guatemala’s Alta Verapaz department – a mountainous growing region with a cool climate, dense rainforest and high rainfall. The Valdés’ have been farming here since 1875, and their estate is now run by fifth-generation producer Luis ‘Wicho’ Valdé. Wicho continuously invests in his farm, not only to improve coffee quality, but to care for and preserve the area’s natural environment. In recent years, through the application of natural micro-organisms to his coffee trees, Wicho has managed to eliminate all use of pesticides. This progressive approach has led to healthier, more resilient trees that have produced this wonderfully complex coffee.

Please note: our coffee bundles are an online-only offer and aren’t available for purchase in our shops. Coffee substitutions aren’t possible, and each bundle ships to one address.
