We sat down with the always-thoughtful and eloquent John-Paul Aziz to talk about the aesthetic of his restaurant, the important role coffee plays in the day-to-day running of a pizza shop, and his decision to eliminate price barriers to all the pizzas on his menu.

The milk we use in our drinks at Market Lane is produced by Simon Schulz in Timboon. It is organic and unhomegenised and utterly delicious.

In a converted container at Tassie's beautiful Seven Mile Beach, Tidal Coffee co-owners Tori and Chris serve delicious Market Lane coffee with pastries and toasties to an ever-growing community of visitors and regulars.

We first connected with Azalea Flowers in 2017 when we opened our Sth Melbourne shop just across the street from them. The Azalea team started popping in for their daily coffee, and soon began brightening our shop spaces with their incredible, native Australian blooms.
