Second Stitch is an amazing social enterprise that empowers women from diverse backgrounds through textiles training, and garment alterations and production services. We visited their bright and buzzing Coburg studio to chat about what the organisation does, how they got their start, and their goals for the future.

If you’re a sandwich and coffee lover on Gadigal land in Sydney, we highly recommend a visit to the exceptional Good Ways Deli. Good Ways is a classic Aussie sandwich shop with a big difference – all the bread is made from scratch in-house, as are almost all of the sandwich fillings, preserves and sweet treats on offer.

We visited our neighbours at Volker Haug Studio for a coffee and a chat about the beautiful lights they’ve created for us, their diverse and dynamic team, and the role that coffee plays in their office.

We’ve known and admired bakers and educators Michael and Pippa James for a very long time. We visited them at home to drink coffee, make a tiramisu, and chat with them about their coffee ritual, their perfect day off, and their amazing new book, 'Sweet Seasons'.
