As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle you’ll receive one 250g bag of our Seasonal Blend (containing Fazenda Progresso from Brazil and Jigesa from Ethiopia) and one 250g bag of Sincorá from Brazil.
80% of our current Seasonal Blend is made up of Fazenda Progresso from the Borré family in Brazil’s Chapada Diamantina region. The family’s motto is ‘Mindful Coffee’ – a reference to their steadfast commitment to letting the values of excellence, innovation, and environmental and social responsibility guide every business decision. 20% of this blend is comprised of Jigesa from Guji, Ethiopia, produced by family business Testi Coffee. Testi’s objective is to build long-term, transparent relationships with growers, and to invest in the communities that supply the exceptional coffees they buy and carefully process. This espresso blend is rich and creamy with notes of apple and vanilla.
It was with great excitement that our Brazil coffee buyer Toshi embarked on his recent trip to the South American country. Brazil is a meaningful place for Toshi – as a child, he lived there with his family for six years. In the decades since, his love of the country has extended into a passion for its coffee and an investment in the meaningful relationships he’s built with the people who produce the coffees we share. Fabiano Borré is one of those producers. Toshi spent time with Fabiano at Progresso farm, catching up, learning about the recent changes he’s made, and tasting the new-season coffees. “Sincorá is a small and special lot,” Toshi says of this selection. “It’s an easy-drinking coffee, and it’s sweet, clean and delicious.”
