Our espresso coffee bundle is a great opportunity to enjoy two coffees from our espresso line-up. As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle you’ll receive one 250g bag of our Seasonal Blend and one 250g bag of Mormora.
The Seasonal Blend consists of two spectacular washed process coffees. 60% is the sweet and creamy Santa Clara from Antigua Guatemala. We’ve worked with producer Ricardo Zelaya since we first opened Market Lane in 2009. He is a very progressive producer, who is continually trialling new coffee varieties, while ensuring that his farming and processing practices are as sustainable as possible. 40% of the blend is the clean and balanced Wahundura, produced by the Kamachiria Farmer’s Cooperative Society in Central Kenya. Founded in 1972, Kamachiria has 5600 members – most of them second-generation co-op members who inherited their farms from their parents. At harvest time, the producers deliver their ripe cherries to the Wahundura washing station (or ‘factory’ as it’s called locally) where the coffee is carefully sorted and processed, and then dried on raised beds in the sun. In the cup, you’ll find a cherry sweetness with notes of red apple and a caramel finish.
Mormora was grown in Ethiopia’s Guji Zone on a 200-hectare farm owned and run by producer Yodesa Yachisi and his family. Yodesa initially worked in the mining industry, but he moved into agriculture in the early 2000s when he fell in love with coffee and its ability to connect and support communities. It is rare for an Ethiopian coffee to be traceable back to a single estate; most come from cooperatives or farmer groups. Mormora has been grown and naturally processed with care by the Yachisi family, and it’s a stunning example of a coffee from this region. In the cup you will find nectarine and orange with a floral finish.
Please note that our coffee bundles are an online exclusive offer and are not available for purchase in our shops. Coffee substitutions are unfortunately not possible, and bundles ship to one address.
