Our Coffee Drip Bags
Coffee Drip Bag FAQs
After use, the dripper itself goes into the rubbish bin, the sachet can be recycled with soft plastics, and the cardboard box can be popped in with your kerbside recycling.
Please note, our Drip Bag sachet packaging is not as sustainable as our regular coffee bags, which are fully kerbside recyclable. The soft plastic sachet packaging is not ideal but it’s currently the best option available for ensuring product stability and a long shelf life without compromising on coffee quality.
We continue to search for more easily recyclable packaging options. In the meantime, we are happy to collect the soft plastic sachets for recycling at any of our locations. Please feel free to drop them off during our opening hours, or even post them to us if you’re unable to get to our shops or roastery.
We take our Drip Bags with us when we don’t have access to a brewing set-up. They’re perfect for an early morning flight, a coffee on the road, on top of a ski slope, in a hotel room, or when stuck back late at the office. We also always have a few sachets in our bag, the glove box of the car, and in the back of the cupboard for those moments we run out!
For everyday brewing, we recommend using our freshly roasted beans if you have access to brew gear to make your coffee. The rotating line-up of beans we have on offer are always in-season and freshly roasted, which means they retain all the special and unique flavour characteristics inherent in the beans.
Our Drip Bags and their packaging are designed and manufactured to retain as much quality in the coffee as possible but, as the beans are pre-ground, it won’t be as vibrant as our freshly roasted coffee. This is why we recommend using our drip bags when you’re somewhere without access to home brew gear or a travel kit or our shops! These drip bags are a convenient travel alternative and a coffee-emergency back-up to freshly roasted beans, but they’re not intended to be an everyday replacement.
