About this coffee

Bellavista was produced by Zulieth Sancho Masabuel on her small farm in Colombia’s Inzá municipality. Zulieth’s parents are both influential and talented coffee farmers, and she initially decided to work in coffee to help make her family’s business more successful and sustainable.

Zulieth currently studies Business Administration in Neiva, a city about three hours away from Bellavista. She travels to Inzá every weekend to tend to her 10,000 coffee trees and visit her family’s farm. While her schedule is jam-packed, Zulieth believes her studies will strengthen her abilities as a producer, and give her tools to manage her family’s business in new and innovative ways.

This microlot was selectively hand-harvested, with most labour done by Zulieth and her family. It was then carefully wash-processed at Bellavista’s on-site mill. We love this coffee’s floral complexity and its vibrant toffee sweetness. We hope you enjoy!
