    Description

Enjoy two of our espresso coffees with this special coffee bundle, perfect for those who brew with an espresso machine or a stovetop brewer, or for those who like a stronger plunger brew! As our coffee offering changes seasonally to ensure you’re brewing the freshest beans, our bundle line-up changes accordingly. In this bundle you’ll receive one 250g bag of our Seasonal Blend (containing 80% São Judas from Brazil and 20% Ruli from Rwanda) and one 250g bag of Mamani Family from Bolivia.

Our current Seasonal Blend contains coffees produced by two of our long-time supply partners. São Judas (80%) was produced by Antônio and Terezinha Rigno in Piatã, Brazil. Antônio is one of Brazil’s most knowledgeable producers and the Piatã area is famous for its growing conditions but, above all, Antônio credits his team with the high quality of his coffee. “They are like family,” he says, “and they care as much as I do about quality. I am very lucky.” Ruli (20%) was grown by 430 small-scale farmers, who are members of the Dukunde Kawa Cooperative in Rwanda’s Northern Province. Dukunde Kawa makes a point of investing in infrastructure, training and social programs, in order to produce consistently beautiful coffees, and to ensure coffee is a sustainable source of income for its members.

The Mamani family is a well-known and influential coffee-producing family in Uchumachi, a remote settlement in the heart of Bolivia’s Caranavi Province. This delicious microlot was grown by Juana and Juan Carlos Mamani and René and Nicolasa Mamani on their neighbouring farms. The Mamanis work closely with each other to offer support and share resources and labour during the busy harvest period. Together, they’ve established best agricultural practices, and they now share their knowledge with other local producers, helping them institute better farming practices so they can improve their coffee quality and fetch more sustainable prices.

Please note: our coffee bundles are an online-only offer and aren’t available for purchase in our shops. Coffee substitutions aren’t possible, and each bundle ships to one address.
