This coffee tastes sweet with flavours of strawberry and pear.

This coffee is a special micro-lot from our long-time producing partner, Ricardo Zelaya, and his dedicated team at Santa Clara farm. The coffee cherries were hand-picked by highly trained coffee pickers, who are employed and paid a premium wage, specifically for their skill at selecting only the ripest and most perfect cherries.

After picking, this coffee was carefully processed using the natural method. Ricardo has been working hard to perfect his naturally processed coffees over the years and we’ve been lucky to enjoy them and experience their continued refinement.

This is the first time we’ve offered a natural coffee from Santa Clara on our filter menu. We think this micro-lot is a fantastic representation of how good a naturally processed coffee can be! In the cup, it is very sweet and tropical, and also clean and balanced.

Coffee at Santa Clara is shade-grown, which protects the plants from direct sunlight, maintains soil health and promotes biodiversity.
