In this bundle, you’ll get one 250g bag of Ayla from Ethiopia, one 250g bag of La Esperanza from Colombia and one 250g bag of Jigesa, from Ethiopia.
About these coffees
The Ayla washing station is owned by Testi Coffee and is located in the Sidama region of Ethiopia. This lot was processed using the natural method and has a sweet stone fruit acidity, with notes of peach and cherry blossom.
La Esperanza was established 31 years ago by producers William Buitrago and Aminta Mahocha Franco. Their beautiful property sits on the steep valley walls of the Rio La China, a small river which is used as a water source to grow and process the family’s coffee. In the cup this coffee has a beautiful toffee sweetness, lovely fruity notes and a juicy body.
Jigesa is a washing station owned by Testi Coffee in Guji, Ethiopia. The Guji area produces some of the most exciting coffees in the country, including this lot, which we’ve been delighted to feature every year since 2018. It is complex and floral, with notes of nectarine, blueberry and a bergamot finish.
