In this bundle, you’ll get one one 250g bag of La Maravilla from Guatemala, one 250g bag of Werka from Ethiopia and one 250g bag of our Seasonal Blend (featuring two Colombian coffees, with 85% from AMACA Women’s Coffee and 15% from El Bombo).
About these coffees
La Maravilla is a family-run farm in Huehuetenango, founded in 1997 by Guillermo Rosales and his son Mauricio. They named it “La Maravilla” – “the wonder” – in tribute to the land’s breathtaking beauty. This coffee has a rich texture with notes of hazelnut and caramel.
Werka is a sweet, fruit-forward coffee grown by small-scale farmers near the village of Werka in the Sidama region of Ethiopia. The microclimate of this region is cool and wet, which results in a dense and vibrant coffee.
Our current espresso blend is delicious and versatile, with notes of plum and butterscotch, and is made up of two fresh-crop Colombian coffees produced by special communities of small-scale farmers. AMACA are an independently run women-only association, whose rich, full-bodied coffee provides the base of this espresso. The remaining 15% of this blend comes from the combined harvest of 30 small producers, members of the ASOBOMBO collective, who farm close to the town of El Bombo in Colombia's state of Huila.
